Ministries
Welcome Page, I’m New:
We are glad you are here! Good News is a church family that exists to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples!
The building on the corner of California & McLean is the primary place where we gather each week. It’s where we sing, pray, fellowship over a meal, and learn about God through the study of the Bible. Church services are held every Sunday morning from 10:05 – 11:30 am.
Good News is a welcoming church family! You are encouraged to come dressed as you are and feel at home/ We like to keep it family-oriented so there is no need to be overly formal. We have children programming for ages baby to 10 years old.
We hope to see you for Church on a Sunday morning. We’re excited to get to know you!
Who You Will Meet:
At Good News there are people just like you. We come from all walks of life — every age group, life-long Chicagoans and recent transplants. Our church is filled with teachers, firefighters, nurses, entrepreneurs, janitors, homemakers, and more. What draws us together is our love for Jesus Christ!
We have biblical leadership consisting of elders and deacons. Our Elder team is made up of our Senior and Associate Pastor and two elders. Ben Toro & Joshua Flores are part of our elder team working alongside our pastors to guide the spiritual welfare of the church through teaching, preaching and governance. Additionally, we have two deacons. Look below to learn more about our Good News Bible Church leaders.
To keep all of these leaders organized and ready to serve… we have an administrative director to handle communications and all things administration.
